Sharon Shelton Corpening (SDSC) Writer/Editor, 52

Sharon is a writer/journalist who has worked for four newspapers, seven radio stations and five television shows. She is owner of Shaston Writes, a writing service. She is also active with a network of women entrepreneurs in Roswell, GA.  She has two Children, Vincent, 24, and Chelsea, 23.

Sharon's the daughter of Eleanor Bullock Shelton and Quinn C. Shelton, the granddaughter of Eleanor (Elinora) Cross Bullock and Herman Bullock, the great-granddaughter of Harriet Terry and Anderson Cross, the great-great granddaughter of Samuel G. Cross and Rebecca Marrow Cross-Lewis … and so on.

Eleanor Bullock Shelton (EBS), Historian/Writer, 75

Eleanor is an historian, having earned two masters and completed doctoral work at Michigan State University in the discipline. She built the Black Catholic Oral History Research Project for the Archdiocese of Washington. She's writing a three-part series about Samuel and Rebecca Cross, and two generations of their offspring. She has recently discovered our Cross origins in colonial Rhode Island.

Eleanor has three children: Sharon Shelton Corpening, Cheryl E. Shelton and Erik Q, Shelton, and his wife, Debbie. She also has six grandchildren: Vincent Corpening, 24, Chelsea Corpening, 23, Erik Shelton, Jr. 19, Taylor Shelton, 17, Sean Shelton, 12 and Ella Shelton, 9.

Chelsea Renee Corpening (CRC), Writer/Photo Editor, 23

Chelsea is a writer and musician. She recently graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore as an English major and Music minor. She's also a whiz at photography, page layout and photo editing.  

She's the daughter of James Raynaud Corpening and Sharon Shelton Corpening, the granddaughter of Eleanor Bullock Shelton and Quinn C. Shelton, the great-granddaughter of Eleanor (Elnora) Cross Bullock and Herman Bullock, the great-great granddaughter of Anderson Cross and Harriet Terry Cross, the great-great-great granddaughter of Samuel G. Cross and Rebecca Marrow Cross Lewis and … so on.
